Interim Manager Certification and Criteria
Interim manager certification is a certification of professional competence. It confirms a high degree of expertise, multi-year experience and success in the field of interim management and thus gives the holder greater prestige.
The Certified Interim Manager possesses sufficient knowledge and experience, which have been verified by critical review by members of the professional community. The basic criterion for certification is the demonstration of managerial qualities on specific projects. In the certification process, however, the interim manager does not only advocate professional and professional qualities, but also demonstrates human qualities, flexibility, a comprehensive approach to the issue at hand and a commitment to continuously work on oneself.
The Czech Association of Interim Management has been awarding certification to its members since 2016. The aim is to support the growth of quality Czech interim managers through certification, to achieve the highest professional standards in the field and thus contribute to the stability and development of business entities in the Czech Republic. A certified interim manager can prove himself with a certificate issued by the Czech Association of Interim Management and confirmed by two members of the committee, as the executive body of the association.
Certification together with the authorization of the field of interim management, granted to the Czech Association of Interim Management as the only entity by the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic, is the highest possible official confirmation of the quality of interim managers in the Czech Republic.
Mandatory certification criteria

Interim management experience - min. 3 implemented projects of an interim management character, crisis management or any long-term development project in which he/she has participated managerially (relevant experience from employment may also be substituted), min. 1 of which has been proven successful1
- Age over 40 years
- Guarantee of a CAIM member who has been with CAIM for at least 2 years
- Legal criminal record2
- Social independence for 1 year3
- Minimum of 2 years membership of CAIM
